試驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)表明,與SP比較:GP組,各時(shí)間點(diǎn)實(shí)施安樂(lè)死的BW都較輕(P < 0.01);各時(shí)間點(diǎn),GP組股四頭肌重量與股骨長(zhǎng)、BW與體長(zhǎng)、脾臟重量與BW比值均顯著降低(P < 0.05)、SI重量與長(zhǎng)度比值相對(duì)較低 (P < 0.10);胃和心臟與BW的比值沒(méi)有顯著差異 (P ≥ 0.05)。在出生組中,與SP比較,GP豬只腦與肝臟重量比值顯著增加(P = 0.044),肝臟與BW比值相似(P = 0.35);在斷奶組中,GP肝臟與BW比值顯著升高(P = 0.014)。在出生和斷奶兩個(gè)組中,GP的腦與BW比值均極顯著升高(P < 0.01)。在出生24h時(shí),GP空腸和回腸粘膜總蛋白含量極顯著下降(P = 0.007);血清IgG濃度也極顯著降低(P < 0.001),但在斷奶階段沒(méi)有顯著變化(P ≥ 0.10)。在出生組中,GP的乳糖酶比活度顯著升高(P = 0.022),而斷奶組中無(wú)差異(P ≥ 0.10)。
綜上所述,這些研究結(jié)果表明,與SP相比,GP的早期發(fā)育可能會(huì)被延遲, 而且GP和SP之間在出生后存在的一些解剖學(xué)差異到斷奶時(shí)也仍然存在。
A comparison of the anatomical and gastrointestinal functional development between gilt and sow progeny around birth and weaning
Gilt progeny (GP) often have restricted growth performance and health status in comparison to sow progeny (SP) from birth, with the underlying mechanisms responsible for this yet to be fully understood. The present study aimed to compare differences in growth and development between GP and SP in the first 24 h after birth and in the periweaning period. Two cohorts of pigs including 36 GP and 37 SP were euthanized at 1 of 4 time points: a birth cohort (at birth before suckling, 0 h; and 24 h after birth, 24 h; n = 33) and a weaning cohort (at approximately 29 d of age; “pre-weaning,” PrW; and 24 h after weaning; “post-weaning,” PoW; n = 40). Pigs were individually weighed at 0 h, 24 h, PrW, and PoW up until the point of euthanasia, at which time the weights of selected tissues and organs were recorded and analyzed relative to BW.
